Approximately 60 music stations plus some news, family, etc., ones. Surpsisingly, after being professionally installed, I am now listening a different radio on my go. I bought it through Amazon during a trip to LA, and activate the radio there.
I was not able to continue listening the public radio in Mexico City. I choose Terk XM due to the good comments in the few reviews. I spend 2-3 hours in the traffic, daily.
And I am happy on my decision. Reception is practically crystal clear, and I spend the journey 'happilly different'. All the stations are a commercial space, and I thought sattelite radio was my option.
Although I live in Mexico City, I ran the risk to go for an XM radio.
I have a infinity sound system in my car and the only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is sometimes the sound is a little chintzy, the reception is excellent and I have had very few problems, I am constantly surrounded by mountains where I live and I only had one problem for a short time.I would definitely recommend this product If you have basic electronic knowledge you should be able to hook this up without a problem. This radio is pretty good. I have a specially modified vehicle because I'm in a wheelchair so it took a while longer to install probably about 2 1/2 hours but it wasn't difficult to actually do it, it was just difficult because of the way the radio was positioned for the vehicle in its housing.
I had a problem getting it to scan for channels after activation but that was my fault. It goes in easy and looks nice. The directions could be a bit better. This is a nice unit. The best thing about it is that I have one subscription for my car and the house.
This is an excellent addition to my vehicle. Very easy to install - it comes with everything except wire connectors. Excellent XM Radio. The Commander MT enables you to install XM in your vehicle and still achieve a factory look.
Now that Sirius bought out XM I'm wondering how that will affect my service. Takes a while to hunt for signal a sometimes. Nicely made, good features. Integrated it into my dash on my Excursion.
